Happy birthday to me

Hi, my dear friend,

Today I am 21 years old. It is weird number. To be honest, just 6 years ago I could not believe I will be 20… But now I am even 21… How do I feel? I am not sure. I was not waiting for my birthday. No, it does not mean I hate it or something like that… It means it is not so important for me as before…

I remember in the childhood I started to count days one month before my birthday… And today is like my birthday? Funny, right?

I am not waiting for gifts or wishes from facebook friends. No. I am waiting only for meeting with my real friends.

As George Meredith had said – do not just count your years, make your years count.

I am happy. 21 is a nice number, do not you think so, my dear friend?

With love,

Yours Rya

      1. As it is said, happy person is not realist. He is optimist who throw away his toxic thoughts. Now I am also learning to do it and I hope to find my own happiness. And more good people 🙂

      2. I like to talk face to face 🙂 Because of that sometimes I do not know what to write. But I am really thankful for your words. I liked your blog too and I hope to read it later. Nice thoughts.

  1. I hope you had a memorable day, Vipul. In the USA, 21 is the age that makes drinking and buying alcohol legal, even though at 18 “kids” can go to war, they can die for their country, they are considered adult enough to “age out” of the foster care system – if they’d been in a foster home as a child. So 21 has significance here. How about in other parts of the world?

    1. we can buy alcohol legal from 20 years. But in general is same as in the USA. But only from 21 we can go to pubs or clubs. So for us it is nice time and I hope this year will be special for me. It will I am sure 🙂
