  1. Interesting. I’d say use whichever of those viewpoints is best for the situation. Is everybody else giving up or are all the ideas too similar? Use optimistim and creative thinking and keep trying. Is someone telling you that you can or should do something that you can’t? Use realistic thinking to describe what you can and cannot do. Has someone said sorry for a wrong, but you still have good reason not to trust them? Be pessimistic. Doubt them. Keep yourself safe. That’s my opinion anyway.
